After graduating from the University of Bristol with a Master of Law, Lisa started her career as a Member of the Cyber Team of the Southwest Regional Cyber Crime Police Unit. Dealing with serious cyber-crimes in both the UK and overseas, Lisa built her expertise in dealing with cybercrime and helping organisations to deal with such crime effectively and bounce back after a cyber-attack. Such skills led to Lisa becoming the Co-Founder of Red Goat Cyber Security LLP, a company dedicated to training and crisis simulation and helping other companies to show their dedication to information security. 

Having achieved great success with Red Goat Cyber Security, Lisa later Co-Founded a 'cyber for good' movement named Cyber Volunteers 19, a company dedicated to providing help and advice to hospitals during the Covid-19 Pandemic that amassed 3000 volunteers.  Most recently, in 2021, Lisa became the Co-Founder of Respect in Security, and aside from her commitments to her own company, Lisa has also been part of a judging panel for the Business Leaders Award. A regular on BBC news and radio and frequently featured in national newspapers, Lisa is a trusted voice in cyber-security. Beyond the world of cyber security and technology, Lisa enjoys time spent climbing and caving, having climbed some of the world's highest peaks and often found travelling to remote places in search of untouched climbing spots, caves and old abandoned mines.
